Why is this answer correct?
Under Art. 20(2) GG popular sovereignty means that all state authority derives from the people. A monarchy (a) contradicts democracy, the Federal Constitutional Court (b) does not stand above the constitution but guards its observance, and associations (c) hold no state authority of their own.
