EDITORIAL LEARNING AID
Why is this answer correct?
Free means that no one is forced to vote and every person decides for themselves to whom they give their vote (Article 38(1) of the Basic Law). Not all convicted criminals are excluded from voting, elections take place on a Sunday, and one cannot freely choose the location of the polling station.
Free elections: no coercion, a free choice of person and party.
